Pengaruh Knowledge Donating dan Knowledge Collecting terhadap Innovation Capability Kasus Pengembangan UKM Batik di Provinsi Jawa Tengah-Indonesia

Abstract

Abstrak. Perusahaan kecil dan menengah secara signifikan berkontribusi terhadap pembangunan ekonomi Indonesia. Batik dianggap sebagai warisan budaya yang terutama dihasilkan oleh perusahaan kecil menengah di Indonesia. Untuk lebih mengembangkan bisnis pada perusahaan kecil dan menengah batik, masih banyak masalah yang harus ditangani terutama berkaitan dengan meningkatkan kapabilitas inovasi mereka. Perusahaan kecil dan menengah batik terletak di beberapa kota di Propinsi Jawa Tengah-Indonesia. Metode pengambilan sampel menggunakan purpusive sampling dan analisis data menggunakan Partial Least Square (PLS). Hasil studi ini menunjukkan bahwa kesenangan dalam membantu orang lain, dukungan manajemen dan balas jasa dari organisasi secara signifikan berpengaruh baik pada kesediaan menyumbangkan pengetahuan dan mengumpulkan pengetahuan. Akan tetapi hasil studi ini menunjukkan bahwa keyakinan kemampuan diri tidak berpengaruh signifikan pada kesediaan menyumbangkan pengetahuan maupun mengumpulkan pengetahuan. Selanjutnya, hasil studi pada perusahaan kecil dan menengah batik menunjukkan bahwa baik menyumbangkan pengetahuan dan mengumpulkan pengetahuan secara signifikan mempengaruhi kapabilitas inovasi.

Abstract. Small medium enterprises significantly contribute to Indonesia' economic development. Batik is considred as cultural heritage that is mainly produced by Indonesia's small medium entreprises. To further develop the business of Batik small medium entreprises, there are however still many problems to be addressed especially with regard to improving their innovation capabilities.This study aims to examine the effect of knowledge donating and knowledge collecting to innovation capabilities. Batik small medium enterprises located at several cities in the Central Java Province-Indonesia. Sampling methods using purposive sampling and data analysis using the Partial Least Square (PLS) are employed in this study. The result of this study shows that enjoyment in helping others, top management support and organization rewards significantly affect both the knowledge donating and knowledge collecting. The result of this study nevertheless shows that knowledge self-efficacy does not significantly affect both the knowledge donating and knowledge collecting. Furthermore, the result shows that both knowledge donating and knowledge collecting significantly affect the innovation capability of the studied Batik small mediuem entrepreises.
