Abstract

Abstrak. Industri kreatif memiliki kontribusi terhadap pembangunan ekonomi, akan tetapi pengembangan industri kreatif masih banyak permasalahan, terutama sumber daya manusia, sehingga berdampak pada lemahnya keunggulan bersaing dan kinerja. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji dampak quadruple helix dalam meningkatkan kreativitas dan kapabilitas inovasi serta dampaknya pada keunggulan bersaing dan kinerja pada sektor fashion di Jawa Tengah. Metode pengambilan sampel menggunakan purpusive sampling dan analisa data menggunakan Partial Least Square (PLS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan quadruple helix (intellectuals, government, business, civil soceity) berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kreativitas. Intellectuals dan business berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kapabilitas inovasi, tetapi government dan sivil soceity tidak berpengauh signifikan terhadap kapabilitas inovasi. Kreativitas berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kapabilitas inovasi. Kreativitas dan kapabilitas inovasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keunggulan bersaing dan kinerja.

Abstract. Creative industries significantly contribute to economic development; however the development of creative industries stills many problems, especially human resources, so it has an impact on the weaknesses of competitive advantage and performance. This study aims to examine the effect of quadruple helix to enhance the creativity and innovation capability, and impact to competitive advantage and performance on sectors of fashion in Central Java. Sampling methods used was purposive sampling and data analysis used the Partial Least Square (PLS). The research results that quadruple helix (intellectual, government, business, civil society) are significantly effect on the creativity. Intellectuals and business significantly effect on innovation capability, but the government and civil society do not significantly effect on innovation capability. Creativity has a significant effect on the innovation capability. Creativity and innovation capability are significantly effect on the competitive advantage and performance.
