The 8th International Conference on Management in Emerging Markets (ICMEM 2024), organized by the School of Business and Management, Institut Teknologi Bandung, was held in Bali on August 28-29, 2024. This conference marks the eighth successful iteration of the annual ICMEM event, which began in 2016. Building on the success of previous meetings, the theme for 2024 is “Embrace Governance and Sustainable Development for Global Impact”. This year ICMEM collaborated with AESCS workshop 'Agent-based Approaches in Economic and Social Complex Systems' organized by Pan-Asian Association for Agent-based Approach in Social Systems Sciences, Japan. Thus, various researches in the field of social systems sciences.
