Abstract

Abstract - This study proposes and investigates the organizational readiness for digitalization of a Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) at CV XYZ, a family business specializing in garment accessories in Indonesia. Despite the burgeoning e-commerce market and its potential for sales growth, CV XYZ faces stagnant sales attributed to its exclusive reliance on offline channels and a notable absence of digital platform utilization. The existing workforce, including the owner and employees, possesses limited digital skills and familiarity with online tools, posing a significant challenge to the adoption of digital strategies. This research aims to propose and assess the current level of organizational readiness for digitalization at CV XYZ and propose concrete initiatives to effectively prepare the company for the implementation of e-commerce and social media platforms. Employing a qualitative research methodology, data will be gathered through semi-structured interviews and focus group discussions with key employees of CV XYZ. The collected data will then be analyzed using thematic analysis to identify strengths, weaknesses, and key factors influencing organizational readiness. The anticipated outcome of this study is a comprehensive understanding of CV XYZ's digital readiness, coupled with actionable recommendations and an implementation plan designed to foster a successful transition to a more digitalized business model, ultimately enhancing sales and brand awareness.
